John Lamborn Portfolio
This is an incredibly basic portfolio that I have stubbed into the back on my wifes website. This is 2021 current. Apologies for the hastyness of it. I have been modeling in 3D Studio Max since version 3.1 . My main focus is modeling and rigging. I have a lot of Hard surface models in a mix of high and low poly targets, with a few organic models here and there. I do the unwraps and then use the Adobe suite for texturing. I work both from design and pure conceptual work.
Level Layouts
I created the level layouts with game flow and enemy pathing for a multiplayer Tower Defense title. I handled the Design of the layouts and the tech art setup of all the assets(maps, towers, enemies). I designed and oversaw the asset creation and overall structure so that the art assets would interact properly with the code objects and events.
Editing / Planning
I will usually plan out in flow diagrams the flow of the game or the players interactions with it. The Editors shown here I wrote myself for the Unity Engine editor. They controlled the data points and visuals for the assets in the tower defense game I designed for FourLights.
