Projects

This page is for projects that I may be working on throughout the year (and/or years).  I will give a brief little description for each title so that you (the casual observer) are not left in the dark.  

Plight of the Honey Bee

For a Children's Literature class that I took during my Master's program, our final project was to create a book.  My book was about the Colony Collapse Disorder that has been plaguing the bee population. Worker bees just abandon the hive leaving behind the queen and any young.  There is no sign that the workers have died, they just leave the hive.  In this book I included a few of the theories as to the cause of CCD, but none of these theories have been proven.  
All work was done on 90 lb watercolor paper with Yarka watercolors and Copic pens for the inking.  The words and sound effects were added in Photoshop and are not final.
